Biography - Lt Col Jeff Focke, CAP

Lt Col Jeff Focke serves as the Vice Commander for North Carolina Wing. He serves approximately 2,000 members and is responsible for compliance and mission readiness to perform the three primary missions of Emergency Service, Cadet Programs and Aerospace Education throughout the state.

He joined Civil Air Patrol in 1982 as a Cadet and working up through the ranks, earned Civil Air Patrol's highest cadet honor, the Gen Carl A. Spaatz award.  As a senior member, he has also progressed through the Education and Training program to earn his Gill Rob Wilson award.  He has held command positions at the squadron and group level as well as numerous staff positions up to the Region level.

Lt Col Focke was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, served in the United States Navy, and has lived in Charlotte, NC since 1994.
