Aircraft End of Month Report

This information below outlines the end of month reporting process for AMO’s.

  1. Aircraft Inspection 

    1. Review all open discrepancies on the WMIRS Aircraft Discrepancy Log and verify with aircraft. 

    2. Review the WMIRS Maintenance Snapshot.  Notify Wing AMO for any expired items.  Note any items expiring within 10-hrs or 30-days. 

    3. Confirm a VOR check has been completed within the past 30-days and ensure it is recorded in Tab #3.  Complete a VOR check if necessary 

    4. Complete the monthly fire extinguisher inspection Once this has been completed date and sign the log located in Tab #3. 

    5. Verify the GPS database is up to date and reflected in AMRAD. 

    6. Remove all Aircraft Flight Log Pages for the month from Tab #1.  Add blank pages as necessary. 

    7. Inspect the binder condition.  The binder must be a 1" Heavy Duty White Binder with clear front back sleeve pockets with Avery® 10-Tab Ready Index® Multicolor Table of Contents Dividers. 

    8. Confirm the aircraft has all required inventory items tie-downs, pitot tube covers, air inlet covers, chock, headsets, survival kit etc. Note any discrepancies. 

    9. Confirm cleanliness of aircraft interior and exterior.  Schedule aircraft wash as necessary (required at least semi-annually). 

    10. Complete the CAPF71 inspection form. (Due twice a year in October and April Only)

    11. Update any online WMIRS Maintenance information (see Item 2 below).  

    12. Print a new AIF Binder cover page via WMIRS and place in aircraft 

  2. Review/Update the online WMIRS Maintenance Information 

    1. Verify aircraft status and location in WMIRS 2.0. 

    2. Verify WMIRS Maintenance data is correct in AMRAD and corresponds to aircraft logbook entries.  Confirm 100-hr dates, mid-cycle dates, ELT dates, Pitot Static and transponder dates, corrosion proofing dates, VOR/GPS dates, etc. 

    3. Add any new discrepancies found during aircraft inspection and address with AMO. 

    4. Request closure of completed items by AMO (tach times and dates are required to close). 

    5. Note any expired items or items expiring within 10 hours or within 30days and address with AMO. 

    6. Review AIF Binder and verify that all of the documents from the maintenance page are current. Any documents that are out of date need to be removed. 

  3. Review Aircraft Flight Logs 

    1. Review the AIF Flight Logs for missing information and complete as necessary.  This includes dates, sortie, FRO, departure and destination locations and times, fuel/oil information etc as well as form header information. 

    2. Ensure from the online WMIRS aircraft reports that the previous month ending times match the current month starting times. 

    3. Compare the AIF logs to the online WMIRS Aircraft report.  All flight totals and starting and ending times must match 100%. 

    4. All flight log entries and the online WMIRS aircraft report entries must match 100% 

  4. Prepare and Send Monthly Reports 

    1. Complete the Online AMO EOM Report. Reports must be submitted on or before the 5th of the month.  Any WMIRS entries needing attention must be addressed prior to sending reports.
