2026 NCWG Operations Conference
The NCWG Operations and ES teams proudly invite you to the 4th Annual NCWG Operations Conference to be held in Burlington on Saturday May 16th.
WHAT: 2026 NCWG Operations Conference
WHEN / WHERE: Saturday May 16th at The Lamb’s Chapel church across the street from NCWG Headquarters in Burlington. Church address is 3539 Alamance Road, Burlington, NC 27215. The conference will run from 0900 – 1545.
HIGHLIGHTS: A full day of seminars and educational sessions presented by subject matter experts from around the NC wing. Everyone interested in flying or air operations opportunities are invited to attend. We will have a special seminar track for Cadets interested in the Cadet Wings program and drone flying opportunities as well. Please see below for the planned schedule.
CONFERENCE ATTENDANCE CREDIT: We are awaiting approval for credit to be awarded for the Wing, Region and National Conference attendance requirement for E&T Level 2 and 3, and for the Operations Officer, Emergency Services Officer and Stan / Eval specialty tracks.
FUNDING: Funding will be provided to bring all of the NCWG aircraft to Burlington for their annual inspection. Aircraft attendance is mandatory and all aircraft have been blocked out for the day to attend. No other flight operations will be funded for the date except the conference. Funding for CAP owned vehicle transportation will also be available. There will be no reimbursement for POV’s.
CADET PROTECTION: Please be aware of all travel requirements when travelling with Cadets and ALWAYS observe the two-deep rule. Please contact your squadron commander if you have any questions or concerns.
UNIFORM: The uniform of the day for Seniors will be any CAP uniform except the summer flying uniform. Cadets may wear any CAP approved uniform.
LUNCH: Lunch will be on your own at one of the many restaurants within a two-mile radius. Please see the Conference Locator Map and Details at the top right of this page for a list of nearby options. We will have transportation for the aircrews flying to Burlington.
